Firstly, let's begin by saying that our Spiritual Growth and Spiritual Journey are as individual as fingerprints......no two are alike. So this, along with any post here, are not meant to be a "statement" or "finite" word on the subject, just one soul's interpretation. If you resonate with it at any level, that's great ❤️🙌🫶🙏and if you feel triggered by anything written, that is great as well....an opportunity for reflection 😊❤️

This post is a little bit of a cheat day as I am going to use something I read recently from Orin that resonated with me, and I think concisely explains the circumstances of Spiritual Growth:

"One of the first things you can do to grow spiritually is to let go of any preconceived ideas you have about spiritual growth and your current level of evolution. You may have heard that if you were spiritually evolved you would have memories of your past lives, be able to meditate for hours, live in states of continual bliss, and acquire superhuman abilities, such as being able to leave your body or live for hundreds of years. While some of these things may happen naturally during certain stages of your growth, it is not necessary to be able to do these things to be highly evolved.

Many highly evolved souls have no past-life memories and do not demonstrate superhuman abilities or spend their days meditating. You will find evolved souls working in every possible area to lift the condition of humanity, raise consciousness, and bring more light to their areas of service. They are doing many practical things with their lives and creating many positive results. Their work is their meditation and provides their opportunities for spiritual growth" - Spiritual Growth, Being Your Higher Self by Sanaya Roman.

I wanted to share this as I have run across so many people who at some level or another feel they have to be "this" or "that" to be growing spiritually. You do not. I love that in this short passage, Orin dispels that myth. Purely by thinking of it you are evolving. Your deeper, feeling thoughts (intuitive), touch on who you are becoming, and your actions no matter how small begin to reflect that, and your growth. However, be careful not to think about what you are "not" and what you think you must "become" in order to be evolving and growing Spiritually. It is the mind's way of keeping us grounded, or remaining in control by identifying an ever-elusive goal of Spirituality.

This existence is a beautifully intricate, yet simple tapestry of learning how to connect with ourselves, our Divinity, and through that each other. The thread used in each is the only common element. Every other facet is unique but we find familiarity through the thread that binds all things. Be kind to yourself first and often. Namaste.
